This role offers the opportunity to work as an Electrical Technician building specialized medical RVs and vans that bring critical healthcare services to patients in rural areas. You will take completely gutted vehicles and install electrical systems from start to finish, ensuring they are fully wired, assembled, and ready for safe, reliable operation on the road.
ResponsibilitiesYou will contribute directly to meaningful projects that deliver essential medical services to communities that might otherwise go without care. The role offers a structured build process, ongoing training, and support to help you grow into working independently. You can benefit from opportunities for biannual raises, reflecting your performance and development over time. The environment values hands-on craftsmanship, reliability, and pride in building high-impact, specialized vehicles.
Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a production facility where medical RVs and vans are built and outfitted. The work environment is non-climate-controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. You will work primarily on a first shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as needed to meet project demands. The role involves frequent use of hand tools and power tools, working around electrical panels, wiring, and mechanical assemblies. You will regularly work in tight and confined spaces inside vehicles, requiring bending, squatting, and reaching throughout the day. The facility operates as a hands-on, shop-floor environment focused on safety, teamwork, and completing full vehicle builds over 12–15 week cycles.
