Salary: $57,500 - 85,500 per year Requirements:

• Basic understanding of programming or database concepts, such as SQL fundamentals
• Interest in learning AI-assisted development tools, including Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Snowflake
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work under supervision
• Strong communication skills, particularly with technical peers
• Attention to detail and willingness to ask questions
• Preferred: Coursework or class projects involving SQL, databases, or data analysis
• Preferred: Exposure to AI coding assistants such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT
• Preferred: Internship, co-op, or academic project experience involving development or data work

• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Snowflake to support coding and database tasks
• Help write, test, and troubleshoot queries and scripts under the guidance of senior team members
• Support development and maintenance of data structures, pipelines, and database objects related to our application
• Collaborate with data analysts to understand data needs and respond to requests
• Document technical processes, code changes, and data workflows
• Test and validate data outputs for accuracy and quality
• Learn and apply best practices for AI-assisted software and database development
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Follow direction from senior developers and analysts, escalating issues as needed

We are hiring an entry-level AI Development Intern for a student or recent graduate eager to gain practical experience with applied AI, development, and data work. No prior professional experience is required. This is a technically focused role supporting data associated with an in-house application; the intern will work with adjacent data assets and pipelines rather than within the application itself, collaborating closely with data analysts instead of business stakeholders. The position is hybrid, with four days on-site, and is open to Austin candidates only. The role requires W-2 employment; C2C arrangements and sponsorship are not available.
